Deeb has told people that she’s dealt with a serious injury and is working to get cleared.

We’re told that Deeb was very vocal about her use on AEW TV, and especially the time that she was given. Those familiar with the situation claimed that it entered the area of disrespect, as she’d accuse Tony Khan and AEW management of cutting the time for her matches without telling her until they got to the ring. The claim on the AEW side of things was that they actually got a list of times and showed Deeb that her time wasn’t cut based on what was originally budgeted.

Those close to Deeb say they haven't heard this story directly from her, but it is one that several members of the AEW roster and others in the company has heard, but it led to a situation where she had heat.

I miss her on TV. She could pull a good match out of anyone and her feud with Hikaru Shida was fire.

The one thing I constantly criticize AEW on is the women's division is treated like an after thought. I know a lot of the wrestlers are banged up right now, but they have enough to have more stories going and more than one match per show.

she’d accuse Tony Khan and AEW management of cutting the time for her matches without telling her until they got to the ring.

They considered her being upset about this disrespect, is this not disrespect towards the talent itself? Look, I'm thankful for Tony and his dad putting up their billions to start a second company with enough power to replace WCW, but he's a lot like Vince in some regards, and that's not necessarily a compliment.

Yeah like in 99% of cases, TK should be telling the producers what the time frames are per segments, and the producers and talent are supposed to get together prior to air time and lay shit out.

So it could be the producers not telling her before hand, or her not going and asking. Either one seems fucky cause you meet with your producer in the hours before the show to figure out what you're doing that night, so you should know your time right then to plan things out with your opponent. Should be a zero percent chance of a wrestler hitting the ring and not knowing their time unless if there was a last-minute-while-shes-doing-her-entrance change.

Stuff goes long all the time in AEW, and frequently there are too many matches shoehorned in. It always seems like the women's match is the first to get cut despite often being the only women's match on the card. Not many women's matches goes much over 10 minutes, when was the last time to we had a 20+ women's match?

Until Tony actually gives a shit about the whole women's division and books them like they matter the majority of fans aren't going to give a shit either. Nobody's going to invest when you don't, it will take significant time to actually change this mess of his own making.
