What are they complaining about? For articles that are not behind a paywall it's unnecessary.

Why did you write it might had been a decent link without 12ft? Why was it not decent? I don't understand the problem.

As I said, 12ft.io proxy in this case is completely unnecessary, the page is available without, and why should anyone tell 12ft.io that they're reading this article.
