There is a burn ban in place for the entire municipality as of the end of last week
Anyone have any historical data on the air quality in Ottawa? I can't remember the air being the bad for this long before and I'm curious what the historical context is.

I’ve heard (please take this with a huge grain of salt) that there’s wildfires in Quebec every year, but usually the wind pushes the smoke east / northeast.
So now or summer weekends are rainy out smoky.
