Well, for those of you holding Akers maybe he can have a resurgence in Minnesota. Mattison owners get at least one week against the crappy chargers defense before his stock takes a hit.

I'm not an expert, but I doubt Akers is more than insurance. Mattison hasn't been great but he's also played two very good defenses so far. I think the Vikings still trust him to be a workhorse back.
