Absolutely agree. I was immediately impressed with the voice acting when I busted into Lorath's cabin and started rifling through his stuff.
He's also really recognizable as Cid in the new Final Fantasy 16.

Ive never watched GoT but when watching a let's play of FF16 I nearly lost my mind trying to place that voice, duh dumbass you JUST heard that voice when playing diablo not 2 hours ago
LOL! I basically had the same experience. I was scratching my head the entire time watching Asmongold play FF16, thinking, dang that deep rumble of a voice sounds so damned familiar! Looked up the game on IMDB and sure enough, same dude hahaha.
Been low key obsessed with this dude since his first line in The Witch. Such an amazing voice.
Liked that voice as soon as Lorath told me to join him for dinner and slightly fell in love with it halfway through the campaign, so I looked up the voice actor. Never watched GoT, but he definitely does an amazing job with Lorath.
I knew I recognized his voice from somewhere! Been a minute since I’ve seen GoT but I love his voice acting in Diablo. Easily steals any scene.
Haha, I just finished the campaign in English and loved it. Since I'm multilingual, I thought I'd replay the game on different class, in different language. Switched to Polish and cringed so hard at the choice of Lorath sound-alike. Ended up giving up on Polish playthrough.
Also, polish female barbarian sounds like a department store cashier, rather than a beefcake warrior femme.
Polish cashier is way less inspiring than beefcake femme lol
