This game is super nostalgic for me. I loved going to Blockbuster and renting a game for the weekend when i was a kid. My Dad worked a lot and I didn't get to see him all that much. One weekend we rented Earthworm Jim, and my dad happened to be off that weekend. He watched me play for hours, just cracking up at all the crude humor in the game. Its one of the few good bonding memories I have of him. Ive thought about going back and playing it again as an adult but I don't want to ruin that memory.

The game is hard, but still holds up (like most shiny games). The animations are fluid, the humor is crude and random.
If you want an easier game though, Earthworm Jim 2 is the way to go.
very cool, I thought this was only available for snes and genesis
I had this on the Sega mega-cd! Absolutely loved the cartoon as well, thought it was the coolest thing ever. As a recall it was a good game, solid and funny platform shoot em up action
Oh you had a mega-CD? I would have been, and still am so jealous.
It was immense, at the time, games with video quality graphics and everything
Yeah. We had a Cd-Rom drive for that with the 7th Guest. The first console we had was a NES when the Snes was already out. The 2nd console was a Ps2 near the end of its lifespan. So a PC was all I had for the longest time. I was so envious of everyone with a dedicated gamebox.
don't be envious, you had The 7th Guest! also presumably Doom lol
