For one thing, TS4 doesn't have personal bios. It's not even something difficult to implement, why ditching it in the first place? And I still remember that initially there was no family tree in TS4 either!

Back in the days when TS3 was released, I instantly missed TS2 memory system (that is pretty much non-existent in TS4). There are some recent mods that basically recreate bios and memory icons in TS4, wants and fears were added to the game as well, but I'd rather just continue to play TS2 at this point

The small details for the Lore. Just like how Mary-sue likes pottery haha and this is in her bio after decades of playing i found out like last year.

It's been a hot minute since I played sims 2 but I liked how the babies were done. They weren't in a burrito (sims 3) and they weren't treated as an object (sims 4).

I think Sims 4 redid babies!

Wtf why have I not heard about this before lol thanks. I remember asking about it when toddlers were added and the Sim gurus said it would never get redone correctly.

This was like this year

The former "baby" stage is now a "newborn" and they added a free update for an "Infant" stage inbetween newborn and toddler. It's freaking adorable.

The lore!! Sims 2 is the only Sims game where I prefer playing the premades over my own sims because they are so fleshed out. I also love seeing how others play them since their stories can be interpreted and played out in so many different ways.

I love this too. The only thing I hate is Daniel Pleasant he's a dirty dog no matter what.

Every sim being different from one another. Just: personality.

the ability to create my own neighboorhood and expand them (with downtown, universities, commercial neighboorhood from otb) i only play with rotation otherwise i get too attached to one particular sim and keep playing only with them, ditching the rest of the family in the process, until i am bored of the whole game

my precedent bacc playthrough as gone for like… 5 or 6 year (playing on and off) and i would never have achieved that with how rotational gameplay work in the sims 4 (too little space to expand, even if you delete all preexisting sims, i had maybe 200 sims in 70 or so different household)

plus time based opportunities, carrer or aspirations just don't work in the rotationnal gameplay on the sims 4

oh and also, give them like… personnalities, i feel like i'm playing more or less the same sims over and over again in the 4
