I've been there three times in the past year. We've had great luck with renting DVCs recently that we just want to keep trying all the different resorts we never stayed at before.

We moved to Orlando to go to Disney more. We stopped for a couple years during the pandemic, but we've started going again for a few hours here and there, which is really nice. Stayed on site in September.
Hoping to go to Disneyland in January, but we'll see!
We just went a month ago (5/25-5/28). Before that was Sept 2019.
Hurts to pay extra for Genie+, but we definitely made good use of it (5 LLs each day) and enjoyed the parks much more when had it than the one day we decided not to get it. Also avoided purchasing any ILLs and still got to ride everything we wanted.
We went late 2020 and it was a phenomenal time to go. Everything has seemed… worse since then.
I’d love to ride Guardians and Tron, but I can’t bring myself to support the paid Lightning Lane nonsense.
We’re looking at doing a Universal trip for the first time in a decade while we wait for the value to stabilize a bit (even if that “value” is a false perception and still worse than 2019 era)
We went the weekend before 4th of July and we heard many locals say it was was "dead". We rode Resistance 3 times with lines under 40 mins, though it varies as we saw it 1.5 hours long at times.
I hated to support it at first, but we got Genie+ all 4 days we went and it was worth it. Especially if you don't go often. Me and my wife went, so it was just $50 a day, but if you have a big family it'll add up.
I loved the Tron and Guardians rides, but I would not do the individual Lightning Lane to ride them as that is ludicrous. Guardians was essentially a walk on for the virtual line, Tron we still waited an hour to get on (half of the line is in a poorly shaded area of the walkway and was brutal to be in July's sun.
TBH we will probably skip AK next time. MK is the classic park, but honestly we only rode Mansion, Tron, and Buzz light-year and made it a half day with an EPCOT visit the 2nd half. EPCOT's center is under construction, so maybe wait until it's finished. It was closed our last visit too. Hollywood studios we park-hopped to it every day for something.
We only did July as it was our honeymoon from our late June wedding, but we are never doing the summer again...it was brutal. 98 most every day and 60% humidity. We'll go back to our November visits from now on.
We went in February for ten days. Previous trip was in 2013. I really hope to get back the sooner than ten years!
