Using a tool called Raman spectroscopy UK researchers state they have gotten closer to producing a long-sought diagnostic biomarker for chronic fatigue syndrome (ME/CFS)

I don't think we're at the point where we would be comfortable using a statistical model as a diagnostic tool, especially one with the specificity listed in the article, but the research is definitely going to help point us in the right direction for more specific tests with a lower false positive rate.
