Hmm it underwhelmed me a bit this time. Conceptually and visually cool but it lacked a bit of that oomph i keep hoping for since WAR.

The first Eldraine one was quite fun and gave us Syr Ginger. This one was fine.

This looks a bit cheesy for me. I don't think the anime style really suits MTG, the only exception being Kamigawa blocks perhaps.

Was definitely not as good as what was done for Neon Dynasty. I'm not even sure the style fits Eldraine either. I sort of keep on mind that this probably produced for marketing in Japan as the main driver. Collectables sell in high volume there and there is more competition.

I loved this! @TolarianCollege may disagree but I wouldn't complain if Magic went all anime, all the time. Also props for them to put "I'm so tired of the game" in the song lyrics. #accurate

First thought, did anyone else find the language swapping strange? Like, it would use English for random words mid-lyric. Is that normal for jpop or something?

Second, they absolutely did Rowan dirty here. She was kicking Will's ass solo and was utterly out for blood, knocking him to the ground at the end. Instead they reverse that and made her this meek little thing in the trailer. Not cool.

In the mainstream, short bits of English are common. Bilingual artists will sing songs anywhere on the scale between Japanese and English.
