If I had a group to play heavier wargames with, this would certainly be high on my anticipated list. I trust Jay Carmichael's opinion on game mechanics & assessment, ability to edit things, and is generally good at entertainment, so I don't doubt his game designing capabilities (coupled with an expert publishing team). Also the theme is my jam.

For me and my group, I'll keep to the lighter Cry Havoc and Nexus Ops for this gaming itch. Who knows, maybe at a convention I'll try out Red Dust Rebellion.

I'm excited about it, but I'll probably wait and try it on VASSAL before deciding if I want to buy it.

I like learning about the history associated with the COIN games, so I'll have to see if a sci-fi COIN game is something I can get into.

I'm even more excited about the irregular conflicts series games coming out, which are based on the COIN system, especially Vijayanagara and Cross Bronx Expressway (not sure how I feel about the Robin Hood one yet).

Yeah, kinda! I've been eying it for a while.

I probably won't get to play it—I've got people in my gaming group who really dislike the COIN series, and I've been trying to learn Root with the app and even that has been slow going.

But it's so great that they're doing a fictional setting, especially one where the lore is so thought-through and comes across with so much detail and life.

Super excited for the concept and extending the COIN system to more settings! I'll probably try to play some async VASSAL games, but I've had to limit myself from buying any more IRL COIN games. They're just too difficult to get to the table in my situation.
