The first* series ran from 1978โ1990 (IMBD 8.4/10). There is an 8 episode remake in 2020 on Masterpiece (IMBD 8.4/10). It was televised in most of Europe and there was an increase in applications to vet schools because of it.

This show is a nice break from all the action & intense shows that seem to be more common now. Would really recommend checking it out!
