This is really shitty. The linked petition has the details, but the short version is that Stafford Woods, consistently ranked as the best course in New Jersey, is on the verge of being removed.

Tl;dr winery next door wants the course gone and made a biased report to the department of environment protection - they have now made a call to remove all infrastructure from the park. This appears misguided as the DG community did a lot of work to clean up the park and make it a hazard free environment.

Update: the town is working to find a better solution than outright removal of the course!

In the interim, we will postpone the dismantling of the Disc Golf course and restoration plan until the Department of Environmental Protection states otherwise and/or an agreement has been made.
