So... At what point is Punk more trouble than he's worth?

I was going to comment saying hang on it sounds like Perry might have started it; but then thought nah i'll wait to see what else comes out. And sure enough...

So tired of Punk at this point. Him being on the roster makes me enjoy wrestling less.

Based on the PWInsider story, this sounds like Perry went into business for himself here. But, there are now two stories floating around, probably more to come.

From PWInsider for those that don't want to click the link.... but really click the link, they are trying to run a business here.

As we reported in the Elite section earlier, there was an altercation between CM Punk and Jack Perry before the All In: London PPV went on the air

One version of the story is that there had been a previous conversation between the two about Perry doing a glass spot. As Perry vs. Hook was ongoing, Perry pointed out the glass on the car and screamed that it was real glass and "cry me a river" before doing the spot where he ended up suplexed through the glass. Some are taking that as a message being sent to Punk.

Backstage, the two came across each other. The prevailing story later making the rounds is that Perry confronted Punk, leading to the two shoving each other. We know for sure they absolutely had words backstage.

As we previously stated in the Elite section, from there, the first story was Punk struck Perry. However, the version that is becoming most shared is that Perry was caught in a choke. We are working to clarify but the belief is Perry got the worst of the altercation.

Punk is still backstage at Wembley Stadium. We are told that Perry was asked to leave and is no longer at the Stadium.

As you might imagine, this certainly won't calm the waters backstage between the different factions. Perry is firmly part of The Elite camp.

AEW has another PPV next week in Chicago with everyone slated to once again be backstage.

All the more to ignore if they don't follow my views.

It doesn't matter if Perry had gone in the back and called Phil a prissy lil baby bitch to his face. He escalated it to violence. In the real world, that's not acceptable.

I mean, CM Punk did train and try MMA for a while. He might not have been good at it, but he'd be a lot better than most randos that haven't trained.

Punk is locker room cancer

I like Jack Perry even more

I'm going to say this one is a work

JB needs a story and he just lost one "meh" title, so only makes sense to go for a bigger "meh" title...

I take all this with a huge pinch of salt. Could have been a sideways glance that got polished into a story about punk choking perry out.

Punk drama clickbait fuels and sustains wrestling "journalists" at the moment it seems. Punk is definitely a controversial figure but surely he wouldn't be so stupid as to get into ANOTHER physical altercation after the lawsuits and media drama from last time.

He comes off as a tool sometimes but he doesn't usually come across as a complete idiot. Then again, who knows what happens behind the curtain and closed doors.

Shame this is a thing because tonight was an excellent show for wrestling fans.

Tony confirmed at the press scrum that there was an incident, but wouldn't give any more details than that.
