I am happy that the FTC is trying to act in the best interest of consumers, in recent history the FTC and similar entities worldwide have failed to stop anti-consumer behaviour and it's refreshing to see them actually doing this.

I'm not taking sides here on the broader issue, but until Bloodborne comes to other platforms, I couldn't give less of a fuck that something isn't coming to a Sony console.

Sony were rumoured to be negotiating Starfield exclusivity as well in the months before Microsoft swooped in.

See? fuck all of them. If Sony had their way they woulda tried to keep it off PC too, it sounds like.

That's what gets me the most - Sony continues on pretending to care about the consumers, when all they actually care about is not having the chance to monopolize the games market themselves

Meanwhile, MS/Xbox is at least showing the care about giving consumers more choices as to where to play there games, while Sony locks down everything they can get their hands on via console exclusivity.

See also Xbox day 1 PC/Console releases vs PS 1-year console exclusivity before sometimes making a PC port. Drives me nuts!

Sony's somehow the least altruistic player on a field where altruism doesn't even exist. That 2013 E3 "you've got full rights to your games" thing was about as sincere as Nixon's "my dog Checkers" bullshit.
