PetroDragonic Apocalypse; or, Dawn of Eternal Night: An Annihilation of Planet Earth and the Beginning of Merciless is the 24th studio album by Australian rock band King Gizzard & the Lizard Wizard, released on 16 June 2023. A return to hard rock and metal previously explored on 2019 Infest the Rats' Nest.
I hope they stick with this style for good this time.
Nah mate, the fun with following King Gizz is never knowing where they're going next. They've previously said they're doing 2 albums with a Yin/Yang theme this year so looking forward to the lighter one next.

Like a chameleon I think they will be ever evolving. I really liked this one. Really really fun listen. I do hope they do more like this.
