In an effort to redeem myself I was going to post Island City (1994), but Dr Wesker beat me to it by about 2 months. So I give you Bablyon 5 (1993-1997) , S01 intro.

I remember seeing the pilots for both B5 and Island City on UPN(?) on the same day

This is a great one, that I've actually been thinking about lately.

One of my top favs, I've re-watched it numerous times. Such great acting, and story telling. I had high hopes for Crusade and Legend of the Rangers, but I think Paramount did just about everything they could to kill them off.

Babylon 5: The Road Home was just released. I haven't seen it yet but it's defintely on my list

It's not bad. I think they did the best they could with the cast that is left. Character designs aren't great, but the ships and backgrounds are great. Inconsequential story, but still a welcome visit with old friends.

Great series, I think it's because all the seasons were already written when they were first filmed!
