GameStop: The Ascendant Behemoth - Unleashing Fear in the Hearts of Wall Street Short Sellers

GameStop boasts an impressive insider ownership figure of 15.54%, surpassing that of 490 S&P 500 companies and 99 Nasdaq 100 companies. Notably, this statistic dwarfs in comparison to the significant action taken by individual investors, As per GameStop's 10-K Form, approximately 76 million shares are registered directly with the transfer agent.

Moreover, the company's annual report reveals that out of the 76 million registered shares, around 197,000 are owned by record holders. This indicates that each individual investor owns 385 shares.

Remarkably, this means that through Computershare, individual investors possess 25% of all GameStop shares.

There isn't a DRSBot here AFAIK, and I hadn't even kept up with that... but for the record I just DRS'd 39 shares today from IBKR. I've done about 200 or so more in the past 2 months.

Whatever the stats might say, there is a ton of DRS action not being recorded so I wouldn't be surprised if the numbers this quarter are encouraging, even accounting for that Mainstar IRA rugpull that happened recently...

I just wish I had as much cash to buy as I did two years ago! Imagine loading up at these prices. New apes don't know how good they have it.

cries at ~$40 dollar-cost average :p

Maybe it's the gamer in me. But whenever I see behemoth, I think of the big purple mob from FF that destroys everything with comet or meteor... So, yeah, not far off lol
