Not saying it's right, but MTurk workers are often people from developing countries that are being paid starvation wages to do these tasks. If the company wants quality work, then they will have to pay a decent wage. As of now, they're cheaping out and getting what they paid for.
This is how some AI models are trained. For example image generation AI. You’ll have one AI that’s trying to generate a picture that looks as realistic as possible. Then you’ll have another AI that’s trying to figure out whether that picture is real or AI generated. Then they’ll “compete”, making them both better in the progress.
