I'm pretty sure you have to set up categories in SABnzd so it knows what file type goes where. Set a movie category and point to a folder that radarr looks for. Then do the same for shows and point it to a folder sonarr looks for.

My setup is like this: I have a downloads (might call it root) folder where SAB downloads everything. From then I have another mapped folder where Sonarr sees and another that Radarr sees, since such function exists in those 2 apps and then those downloads are automatically moved. If i set such categories (in folders? or categories? tab, if I remember correctly) then the respective downloads with go directly to the mapped Sonarr-Radarr folders...I'm confused, but I get the logic and will try it. Thank you for your input.
You shouldn’t be downloading into Sonarr and radar’s root folder. You should have a separate folder for tv, and a separate folder for movies
I'm not. I'm downloading in a downloads folder. From then those files are moved to sonarr's radarr's folders automatically.
Prowlarr will use it's own folder only if you search inside prowlarr, and the downloads are kept there.
If you search and download inside radarr/sonarr, then they will move the download to theirs own root folders. (Considering you have one for each, and another to prowlarr).
Prowlarr's search with its own folder to downloads is a good way to have somewhere where you can manually search what you want and manipulate files outside radarr/sonarr.
