First time playing bow build - Ziz’ EA champ. Build feels very solid. Pushing into yellow maps with mostly shit gear from campaign plus 15c bow. Build is tanky and damage is fine, not great. I thought I’d hate the delay of the EA blast but I’m ok with it. I’m too lazy to study the league mechanic. So many stuff to buy and memorize which units/tribes are. I have too much shit in life to have another chore to solve so I’m sticking to my staples of incursion, betrayal and expedition. Was excited to try sanctum but I haven’t found any and I’m too poor to buy them in trade. Generally I’m having fun and the game seems like it is in a good place.

Yeah even when I played EA Elementalist I felt safe to just run and place totems, run and place totems. Especially with additional projectiles the random misses would often impact the next pack and by the time I'm near them those missed shots explode and most of the trash mobs die (alch and go, nothing fancier).
Btw, do people consider EA ballistas as bow builds? To me it feels nothing like a regular bow build even if you need a bow technically. It plays mostly like other ballista totem/spell totem builds.
Going smooth.
Running Enki's new Lightning Conduit build. Made it to Yellow maps so far and it seems to be holding up. Invested about 20 chaos into gear and there's still lots of room for easy improvements.
This is my first league seriously pushing maps since they introduced the Atlas Passive Tree, and I'm loving it. I hit all Shaping nodes for +1 Tier chance, the important Kirac nodes for progression, and the Lab Trial nodes for Uber Lab. Now I'm investing into Delve nodes so that I can spend more time in the light with my best boy Niko. Trying to decide if I should follow the meta and go Essence/Strongbox nodes next, or follow my heart and do Abyss/Delirium/Legion. Also considering blocking out Heist/Harvest. I hate Heist, and it breaks my heart to see Harvest in its current state.
I didn't try anything with Guardian's Blessing so I don't know the specific mechanics of it, but it might be something to use with Minion Instability. Or an Animate Guardian with ES buffer can potentially be a good target for it. Just spitballing, I'll probably never use it.
Minion instability will let it pop, but you will still need to manually resummon and reactivate the aura. Animate Guardian could work, the wiki states that there is some possibility with masked of the stitched demon. Maybe I'll look into that. I hope they patch it so that the minion can be summoned with the aura being active.
I've just reached maps with my General's Cry Shield Crush Berserker and umm, it's not too great. Not for league content and not at all for the first sanctum I've tried. At least it's going somewhere. I still plan to take it to tier 16 maps, mid 90s and getting the first two voidstones. It'll be a challenge, but I had worse.
When tried Generals cry with volcanic fissure it was also terrible in sanctums. The delay from the skill and the attack just caused it to miss targets all the time. Although I guess it was especially bad with volcanic fissure as the travel time of the fissure is added on top of the summoning time of the mirage warriors.
I haven't got to play yet as I went on vacation for league launch but I'd love to hear your takes on the league mechanic!
I read that as "I went on vacation for playing at league launch" :). I think the setting is pretty cool, it doesn't take itself too seriously and it's fun upgrading ones team even though I'm pretty clueless about it. Gameplay wise I can't really tell. Matches seem either way to easy or impossible to win. But I guess I just haven't figured it out yet.
