The state has just 24 affordable and available homes for every 100 extremely low-income households, according to the National Low Income Housing Coalition.
Don't work, the house flippers and property management companies will clear those up before too long.
1000%. I’ve seen property get purchased, flipped minimally, and back on the market a few months later $500k+ over the original purchase price.
When I was looking at houses, I saw a few flips. All of them had very poor quality work done to them. I don't understand why someone would buy a flip since they seem even more overpriced than usual.
Yeah, we've gotta legislate a "housing market" that carves out affordability. A pure unregulated market just means that business owners will try and make you choose between a roof over your head, food on your table, transit, and medical care, to extract the shirt off your back if they can. That should be immoral/illegal for the basics of survival.
