So I can browse and see posts, but no comments... what happens if I try to comment over here?
Reformed Christianity
[email protected] exists to be a place where reformed believers, in a broader understanding of the term, can come together, unified by a clear Gospel witness, to exhort one another, spur one another on intellectually in reformed theology, and discuss doctrine.
Rules (draft)
We probably don't need as many rules as on reddit just yet. But some important ones will carry over.
Rule #1 Deal with Each Other in Love
Rule #2 Keep Content Charitable
Rule #3 Keep Content Clean
Rule #5 Maintain the Integrity of the Gospel and Gospel ethics.
We see it
This is weird, some comments are coming through now, but not all. I can see this thread and your SBC question with their responses, but not your question about the PCA or your post from kbin. And most of the posts have disappeared again. Growing pains? Federation seems to add a lot of complexity...
Yeah. Maybe growing pains. I'll try to check it out some more later this week or next.
Oh,I figured out why some posts weren't showing up, I had my sort set to "top day" so it was only showing the day's posts.
Oh good.
This lemmy thing is going to take a bit to get used to and make improvements.
However, I will say that I love that you can even set filters and sorting like that. And did you see that you can switch it to comments mode (as opposed to the regular posts mode)
Oh, neat! A little confusing, but I'm sure the UI will be polished more in time.
This is a test comment from kbin.social. Does this work?
Why yes, yes it does.
Going to take some getting used to seeing the same username from different sources
I'm going to try not using different accounts for this.
What do you guys think of the SBC decisions from last week's meeting?
I thought they were good. Saddleback needed to be kicked out.
Same. I thought they did a good job. And I thought they were very sober about it. It wasn't something they enjoyed having to do.
What do you guys think of the PCA decisions from last week's PCAGA?
I've come to the conclusion that, overall, I agree with the actions of the assembly on the issues they were given. I could wish some of the overtures presented were worded better (and thus had a better chance of passing)
