But it would be good if there's no side-tracking about other stuff. I feel that in the other forum they're always spamming stuff about UBS/FTX and other macroeconomic stuff to a point where there's barely any talk at all about what really matters!
This one is growing. I personally don't think there is a concerted effort from ss mods to jack that sub up. I think it's just slowing down in a natural way. More apes are zen? at least that is my thinking. I am using occam's razor here. What is more likely? a mod conspiracy or a more natural explanation? I made my own post here complaining about ss mods recently, but after talking to the guy directly, I attributed my incident to human behavior x internet and took down the post here - because I don't want to have a negative post generally detracting from another ape channel. Positivity takes time to build and gain momentum. A little negativity can quickly erase that.
I think it's important to stay positive and give other ape channels the benefit of the doubt. Worrying that everything is captured just shuts down activity imho.
Totally agree with this sentiment. I think it's one of those: "If we build it they will come situation". We just need to continue to engage and develop content specifically on Lemmy for it to build. Already we are seeing great increases in subscriber numbers, we just need to foster and promote engagement.
