Basically, I want to be lazy and be able to click "subscribe" on any magazine/lemmy version of magazine in the threadiverse without manually changing the url to kbin.social/m/[email protected].

Has anyone written such a browser extension already? (And if so does it support Firefox?)

There's https://github.com/daniel-lxs/kbin-link for !magazine@instance links that works with Firefox and Chrome.

Not quite what I'm looking for, I want something that will go underneath or near the "subscribe" button in the sidebar when I visit the actual page, like the attached image

Since often I'm getting links from discord, matrix chat, etc.

But still, this looks really cool & I've installed it, thanks for the link!

I see, that'd indeed be useful.

Maybe the author of the extension I linked would be willing to implement this as an additional feature? You could try to make a feature request on the issue tracker.
