The largest piracy community is hosted over at [email protected]

lemmy.world has blocked it. It appears to have also blocked [email protected].

If this is a problem for you, I'd suggest migrating accounts using LASIM to an instance that doesn't block it (such as lemm.ee).

edit:

An official announcement has been made:

Wtf. Just give them a warning or something. Even reddit still had a piracy community.

That’s the instance I’m on, what was the reason they blocked it?

Yeah! Sadly, not available on lemmy.world anymore but can be browsed via other instances.

Can we get a link to this announcement? I tried to look on Avaddon's profile but didn't see it

It was posted in the lemmy.world discord server.

It seems to be unblocked? I can visit both those communities/instances via lemmy.world.

Yeah, found the announcement https://old.lemmy.world/post/6018317

And that's why a huge portion of that instance's userbase isn't there anymore.

Is there an instance i can use to view "banned" magazines like this? Was just getting settled with Sync on lemmy.world, then suddenly all this stuff disappears. This fediverse shit is so confusing, i just want one central spot to browse my communities.

If this is a concern for you then I'd recommend just switching to an instance that isn't ban-heavy and you can carry on as normal from there, like lemm.ee, sh.itjust.works (note: I've heard this has issues with sending verification issues), lemmy.ca.

Just use any small instance as your home.
