The last few seasons have been pretty bad. All of the interactions with the cast seem to be way to rehearsed even down to casual responses. On top of this the cast itself has been filled with people that are difficult to connect with. I'm not sure if my issue is with the casting or the overly hands on production of the show. Either or both have really ruined the sentiment of people attempting to strategize and compete.

🔥THE TRIBE HAS SPOKEN🔥
I have to imagine it's at least partially due to the covid related production schedule. They've gone from a 39-day shoot to like 26, so there's less down time for casual interactions and less footage to edit into 13 episodes.
Hopefully they can get back to normal soon.
This was around the time that I stopped enjoying the show as much so perhaps you're onto something. But I would hope they would be able to pivot to something better now that COVID is taking a back burner.
