AV1 Encodes a Place to discuss and share AV1 videos and content.

About AV1: AV1 is a modern, open, and royalty-free video codec developed by the Alliance for Open Media (AOMedia) that is the successor to VP9 and promises to deliver 30% less bitrates for the same quality compared to H.265/HEVC and 50% compared to H.264/AVC respectively. Unlike HEVC, you can play and stream AV1 on common browsers such as Google Chrome.

Could someone reencode the denoised version of robocop? (self.av1_encodes)

I'm not sure If I'm allowed to make requests buti found a really high quality version of robocop which i love in h245 and would love to see if the filesize can be reduced in AV1. If you could do this that'd be amazing, if not thats okay too.
