Mabuhay at maligayang pag-alis sa Lemmy! โœˆ๏ธ

An abandoned community for the Philippines and all things Filipino! ๐Ÿ‡ต๐Ÿ‡ญ

Started out as a Reddit alternative during the blackout from Jun 12-21, 2023 with over 1k members in just a few days. Fizzled faster than the "I Didn't Do It" kid after a month until it became the internet's Centralia in less than a year.

Nagpunta ako sa Ayala cinema na sa pagkakaalam ko nagpapalabas ng Cinemalaya films kaso wala. May posters sila ng Cinemalaya pero walang nakasched that day.

Anyways, hindi ba weird na manalo ang isang pelikula ng Best Film pero wala man lang ibang awards for screenplay, cinematography, direction, etc?

Yeah, I'm not going to PICC to watch lalo na ang pangit daw manood sa mga "cinemas" nila. Parang school film showing daw. Sa Fully Booked Teatro nga sa BGC I didn't have a good time at all, I assume it's a comparable experience.

Also, may technical awards din. Here's a full list of the winners. Maraming reklamo sa mga nanalo. People liked "Rookie" but didn't think it deserved Best Editing, for example.
