and play La Cucaracha or something so I know when to run out and chase you.
funny signs
In my neighborhood in Los Angeles we have a taco truck and pizza truck that cruise the neighborhood about once a week. Started during the pandemic and it's wonderful.
SoCal food coaches are amazing. I'm in San Diego. We have entire events based around them.
I imagine the problems with that are more technical than economic. Hot fryers are a touch more sensitive to movement than freezers.
My brain: Ah yes, El Annoys
Enjoy cold tacos do ya?
I mean, sometimes...

What the fuck
That's the treasured recipe they found in legendary El Dorado.
Taco trucks make the taco on the spot. They have a full kitchen inside (compared to a ice cream truck that typically only has a fridge and a soft serve)
Based on how many people upvotes... I'm guessing people never actually interacted with a real taco truck?

Induction cooking.
Where does the electricity come from? The alternator or the gas powered generator which again ..probably can't be running while it's moving. Or do you know of trucks with battery banks cause I've never seen one yet.
Looking at electric cars, we now have access to some incredible mobile battery technology, so it would definitely be possible, and easily too. Only issue is cost, but it's only a matter of time until all or most food trucks will be full electric.
I never said it's impossible, but food trucks typically don't want to spend absurd amounts of money. That's why they have a food truck made from twigs and grease
I thought they did when I was a kid.
I thought all food trucks just roamed like ice cream trucks, they just didn't come down my street.
And I was disappointed to learn I was wrong.
