Pimm’s Cups are special to my fiancé and I but we’re trying to figure out if we can make it work as a signature cocktail given all the garnishes! I think if we pare it down to just a cucumber slice or mint sprig that it’ll be doable.

We had signature cocktails that were classic speakeasy drinks. I bartended years ago, and as long as you have a decent amount of garnish prepped, they don't add more than a few seconds to the make time. People also tend to drink more wine and beer at weddings, in my experience.

I do tend to gravitate towards wine! Except for a couple weddings recently where the signature cocktails were French 75s :)

Very late reply... But why not have all the garnishes? I'm a little ignorant when it comes to cocktails... what's normally included? If you don't have a full bar then it can be the mixed drink you offer outside of wine/beer and you can just plan on a lot of it? I don't know 😂 I feel unqualified

I'm used to Pimm's Cups having cucumber, mint, and a couple kinds of fruit, but the bartending service we're looking at only provides some basic garnishes. I'm not sure if we'd have to provide the rest ourselves, and I definitely don't want to be prepping a bunch of fruit right before my wedding XD
