Wanted to knit a summer stop with some spare yarn. It's still missing some fabric at the decollete and I've just run out of yarn. Tried to substitute with a different yarn (the light one at the very top) but it's not quite working. Guess it's frogging time! 🐸

I'd be too stubborn to undo all that work and just leave it on the needles forever to never again be touched.

That's what I end up doing, and then I feel so guilty for not finishing 😭

Unrelated, but... I just thought of a few places to look for my missing circs 🤔

I'm tempted, actually. But in the end it needs to be done. (Crying.)

Could you rip back just halfway, and bring the second yarn in on a gradient/planned color striping to make it look like an ombre? Looks like it could work with those colors.

I agree with the ombré idea! It’s almost there, plus after blocking it will pull the whole thing together. Like a rug.

It would have been awesome. You did a really beautiful job! Sometimes we just lose at the yarn chicken

Thank goodness I still have a possibility to make it reality. It's a bit long and wide, so if I redo it entirely tweak the measurements a bit the yarn should be sufficient.
