Back in the early 90's while scrolling through the USENET with pine, I stumbled on an odd post. Apparently someone had created what they called a hyper-text markup language to be used on something else named the world wide web using a dedicated browser. I was interested but also dubious. Didn't we already have the recently released gopher that did that? Why bother? This is hard proof of my prescient powers...
