They seem to be on sale everywhere in Scotland, but I think they're the worst crisps I've ever tasted. I bought some the other day because I fancied some crisps with my sandwich and they were the only brand the cafe had. They went in a bin about 10 minutes later. Just awful, like eating compressed dust.

I thought Mackie's was an ice cream brand, so now I'm just really confused and headed to Google.

Edit: existential crisis averted, turns out they make both for some reason. If the crisps are soggy that might be why.

That's the weird thing. Why would an ice cream company suddenly decide to make crisps? Their ice cream is actually quite decent. The crisps, not so much.

We've got a conundrum on our hands, people!

I was going to say the same thing and thought I must be mistaken, but since you've said it I know I haven't dreamt it up. Apparently they make crisps as well.

But like, only those two things? Just ice cream and crisps. As if those two are somehow related? What a weird business.

Is it possible to mess up salted crisps? It's just potatoes, salt, and cooking oil.

They’re pretty well liked in my family, I think my brother tends to stock up on either the Sea Salt or the Lightly Salted ridge cut when he’s visiting our parents. I’ve had them as a result, I think they’re alright.

This did cause me to find out they’re apparently being rebranded as “Taylor’s” following a sell off or something. I might have to alert the relatives lest there be panic about their crisps disappearing. I myself haven’t forgiven Walkers for getting rid of Barbecue flavour.

I work for a Food warehouse in Canada. We picked the chip brand up at two different times. Both times discontinued within like a year. With a bunch of stock going bad.

They're okaaaaayyy. No Walkers though.
