Jerboa is a native-android client for Lemmy, built using the native android framework, Jetpack Compose.

Warning: You can submit issues, but between Lemmy and lemmy-ui, I probably won't have too much time to work on them. Learn jetpack compose like I did if you want to help make this app better.

There is no "standart" way to do that because Lemmy is a link aggregator, meant to share 1 link per post. But there's a workaround for this, use: ![](url-to-your-picture) Example:

You can post multiple pictures by embedding the pictures into the body of a text post.

Upload them to imgur and post a link to the album. I think we still like imgur for now.

I've been using Pixelfed.Social and it's been working great to hosting images and gifs. For videos, I'm using Dalek.zone, a Peertube instance. Both can have their links shared here and they work great.

This also reduces server storage requirements for our friends hosting Lemmy instances, which is cool 😊

The imgur Android app has been an absolute mess for about a week now, failing to open many posts, and even the ones it does give an error that it can't load the ç post stream'.

It started around the Reddit protests, so i assumed it was overload due to user influx, but surely they should have been able to spin up extra capacity by now...

So I'm wondering if it's only me or if others are seeing that as well?
