  • First Probe to take a picture of the Moons far side
  • First Probe to land on another Planet(venus)
  • First Probe to record sounds and pictures of another Planet(Venus) -First Space Station -First Mammals to space. The Soviets really did an amazing job at the space race, sure the Moon landing might be more impressive than all of them however it doesn't outweigh all of them.

The venus one is staggering to me. So few ppl know about it, and its a feat no one else has done.
