Last week’s Nasi Padang. Freaking spicy!
Café
Welcome to our virtual third place, The Café.
Come on in and make a new human connection over a cup of coffee (or Teh Tarik). This is a casual community, do whatever you want, share your oyen pics, your frustrations, and even organize a weekend picnic with the community. The world is your oyster.
Rules are simple, be kind and civil with each other. As with any other café, rude patrons will be kicked out.
Woah that chicken looks huge!! Not enough curry tho hahahhaah
Needs more kuah.

Ah ok. Gonna see what Herc is using
Cukup for me, there’s a dollop of sambal. Thinking about it is making my tummy achy!
But looks good, where is this place?
Nasi Padang Bonda at Simpang Ampang, Penang.
Oh yeah, forgot you were in Penang.
Thai Food from a few weeks ago :D
Haha why the rice so cute wan
Pad krap kai
Yum!
That is so sus... and eggy
Nasi lemak + sambal bawang, with 2 of my own eggs
Oh damn that looks really good!! Traditional nasi lemak is best nasi lemak~
IKR. That's how people can get fat.
I had to consciously make a policy of no nasi lemak for bfast, cos it's so good and I might just turn that into a habit.
Eh, but you had it for lunch today wor.
yeah, occasional lunch i'm still ok with it.
No nasi lemak breakfast cos it's so easy to buy for a 'quick' breakfast.
But for a nasi lemak lunch, i actually have to plan to do it. Bring veg/egg/meat. Buy nasi lemak on the way to work. Keep everything in fridge. Warm up. Profit.
Have you considered sandwiches? Can choose from so many different fillings
Lunch? Yeah I had sandwiches for lunch yesterday. Spicy egg mayo with lots of thinly sliced tomato. I try to have enough cooked from dinner to pack for lunch, but sometimes luck runs out if the kids are all ravenous
Me literally scrambling for food:
for a second i thought that was scrambled eggs on a slice of banana cake!
