This article doesn't make any sense to me. If someone resigns, isn't it typically an immediate thing? Who the heck would submit a resignation and still expect to continue working for another four months?

I mean, many companies will get rid of you the moment you give 2 weeks notice.

It's an unpaid role. He was just saying he'd not leave them in the lurch by continuing to the end of the year.

Wiley doing a Reddit here. As are many other academic publishers. Popcorn time, the sooner these parasites kill themselves off the better.
