That's really unexpected. I like that we got rid of Hoffman but Petry is signed for one more season and it's one less roster spot for the young defensemen. And we now have 3 average goaltenders. There may be another trade coming.

There's no way Petry or Petrys wife will stay in MTL for two more years

His wife stays in Michigan no? And he wanted out because of the COVID restrictions which is not around anymore and with the change of the gm and coach. It is not same organisation anymore for him.
