I love music. I love live music. I don’t know why everything has to be literally hearing-damage levels of loud.

Sound guys turn the volume up to where they think is best. Some sound guys have lost their hearing after years of not caring about their hearing and don't realize how loud it is for people with healthy hearing

Right? Loudness wars haven’t stopped since the 90s. I always wear concert earplugs whenever I attend live shows.

Keep in mind that decibel is a logarithmic scale, so 90dB is quite a bit louder than 75dB. Over 30 times louder, in fact.

Good. I get the whole "don't move into a home by the bars" argument, but many of the bars in town regularly go way above the volume limits and are a nuisance well past the "acceptable" distances.
