Both book series are great. The various film or TV adaptations are so-so

I’m a moderator (/u/MurdoMaclachlan) of /r/TranscribersOfReddit, a now-shuttered project to provide accessibility to blind and visually impaired users.
While I as an individual am affiliated with /r/TranscribersOfReddit’s parent 501(c)3 nonprofit organization Grafeas Group, this archive and my transcriptions on Lemmy are not. I just wanted a nice little box to put my transcriptions in for both my purposes and the purposes of blind, visually impaired, and/or low-data Lemmy users.

If you'd like me to transcribe a specific post, you can send me a private message and I'll see what I can do. I don't make promises on response times though, as I'm often busy. I also don't tend to transcribe videos.

Hi, this post is supposed to link to a transcription comment I did on a different community, it's not actually a comparison post for the two; this community's just an archive of various transcription comments I did to make them easier to find.
Unfortunately it looks like the comment link isn't working for some reason, I'm trying to work out why.
