You don't have to wonder, he's on video talking about it barely a month ago: https://twitter.com/BBCNewsnight/status/1658234370409263106
Saying of course that brexit has failed but not because brexit was bad in it of itself, but because the British politicians are as useless as the EU Comission and that they've totally mismanaged it.

Basically it's the "real brexit hasn't been tried yet" kind of rhetoric.

You should all show more respect, this is a LORD talking to us!

The former deputy prime minister under John Major said the time has come “for the British people to be told the truth”.

He could have told the truth 6 years ago, before the referendum. Maybe his bomb would have not exploded in his face then.

Despite all the nonsense of the British political system and the sheer ridiculousness of having that non-elected royalty bs, what I found very interesting is that its one of the conservatives starting to admit the failure that brexit has been.
I wonder if this will mark the start of trend where we'll see more and more Tories start their U-turn journey towards the European Union.

I'm not sure the rest of europe wants them back. Bunch of entitled, racist, pricks. Let them live with exactly what they voted for.
