You should mention that Otto is a German alternative FOR Germany. Otto does not deliver abroad. Otherwise you'll just end up leaving people disappointed.

You are Right, I remembered that wrong. My apologies!
For those of you searching for an alternative in different countries of Europe, you may have a look at this thread: https://sopuli.xyz/post/23555632
Germany: Otto.de
Belgium / Netherlands / Luxemburg: Bol.com
Romania: eMag.ro
France: cDiscount.com, Galaxus.fr
Poland: Allegro.pl
Switzerland: Galaxus.ch
If you know further all-purpose shops, feel free to add them.
Dude... I've spent way too long creating an account, verifying my mail accepting conditions finding products and trying to understand the German text and then at checkout I get
Lieferungen in das europäische Ausland sind nicht möglich. Bitte wähle eine gültige Lieferanschrift.
(Deliveries to other European countries are not possible. Please select a valid delivery address.)
Beh.. that sucks hard.
When I buy from shops abroad it is the first info I search. It is awful if that info is basically hidden deep under 1000 links.
As a workaround you probably could use a parcel forwarding service:
I have no experience with these providers, but I've used similar services in the past and had good experiences for the most part.
But yeah, it really sucks that they aren't able to ship to other EU countries, while other shops can.
You are Right, I remembered that wrong. My apologies! Sorry you wasted time 🙁
Added to the shop list!
