Tankies are the kind of people who would definitely sell their soul for Trump if they had read another single blog post few years ago.

โข Instance rules apply. I forgot to read them, but I'm sure they're awesome.
โข Community is largely random.
โข Bullet points are dumb.
Tankies have been anti-NATO since 1949. It has nothing to do with the Red v. Blue spectacle.
So if and when the US is no longer a member of NATO, the Tankies will openly support Trump?
A lot of them already openly support Trump and promoted him actively on Hexbear and Lemmygrad before the election.
Am I missing something? Aren't tankies just ancap? Also what is Trump saying that is anti capitalism?
AnCaps are idiots that accept the Austrian school of economics.
Tankies are in general poorly educated leftists with limitied logical processing skills.
Tankies supposedly oppose capitalism, and they only support anarchism when it's in the West.
The term is derived from those who sided with the tanks when the USSR rolled into towns and later when the CCP sent the military on their own citizens during an event that resulted in millions of deaths across their nation. You know, "communists" but without any power in the hands of the workers.
Tankies are Russian and Chinese imperialists. They hate America for its imperialism, but love Russia and China for theirs. They're also very pro-genocide while simultaneously denying genocides.
AnCaps want a stateless society, but it is a misdirection to install neo-feudalism. For some reason they believe they'll be on top.
I guess my question is more, what is Trump saying that is the same as Tankies? Trump isn't anti Capitalist.
Both spread Russian propaganda.
Examples - Ukraine started the war. Putin is not a dictator. Western/NATO expansion is aggressive encroachment and Russia has a sovereign duty to defend itself.
This last one is funny considering Russia no longer controls those territories and Russia themselves are the invaders.
Putin is definitely a dictator who started the war, and invaded Ukraine.
But doesn't every country have the right to defend itself? (Not that Russia is 'defending itself' in this case)

I don't know why you're asking a question that you answered. Yes they do, but that's not what Russia is doing. That's their excuse and it makes no sense. Ukraine has a right to defend itself. Russia is invading.
Ancap is anarcho-capitalism, e.g. screw the government, stateless society where capitalism is king. Not entirely the tankie viewpoint.
