Mentioning your blog, insta, website, book or bar is allowed, yes. For now at least, we do allow self-promotion. If it gets out of hand this might change.
A good post with a drink you don't like is still a good post! Try not to conflate the drink and the post or poster. If someone has a relevant title, gorgeous photo and clearly formatted recipe of what you consider a truly terrible drink, a comment is more appropriate than a downvote.
On that topic: Polite critique/reviews of drinks (or posts, images, etc.) is allowed here. Encouraged , even. It's a good tool for improving your drinks and content. Really, just be nice.
Damn, that's a lot of Negronis. You'd think Negroni is one of those cocktails that you don't have to look up ...
I declare the Twice Up my cocktail of the year (one part spirit, one part water). Originally the Twice Up is made with scottish or japanese whisky, but it also works great with a flavorful genever, brandy or rum; Genever Twice Up is my favourite.
So much gin in general. I guess that's the trend right now.

I think the paper plane & variations was my cocktail of 2024, but I also made a deal with a coworker that I would try to like wine if he would try more foods (I like food, didn't like wine, he is so picky he went to Singapore and ate chicken nuggets, but likes wines) so 2024 I also found I do like some wines.
