In 2006, the company reported staggering losses of approximately $14 billion due to unauthorized use of its products, despite investing millions in anti-piracy measures.
Am I the only one that thinks they actually meant "unrealized revenue" and not an actual annual net loss of 14 billion dollars that year.
when it comes down to it they don't even want to charge for it but doing so allows them to get money from businesses. if regular users hack it to get a copy thats just more data for them.
