I used the term RPN when taking with my wife a few years back. She looked shocked. She had never heard of it and thought I made a derogatory comment about polish people…
She now knows about RPN.

Those are some absolutely gorgeous calculators! It's the one rabbit hole that I have yet to explore. I have Free42 installed on my phone and I've been trying to learn RPN, but I'm reluctant to pick up a piece of history that I can't use yet while knowing that someone else can instantly give it a good home.
Ive also been using droid48 on my phone as well as free42. The transition to RPN can take a bit kf getting used to, HP used to have a guide to RPN in all the user guides. Take your time they are great pieces of hardware regardless. Its really funny handing it to someone and they panic because its different on the bright side people dont ask to borrow them.
I work from home and my wife won't touch anything with more than a square root button, so that's a problem I don't need solved :) Learning RPN has been on my to-do list for an embarrassingly long time, though.
This is the third picture of calculators I have seen in a week - sorry I'm having a moment here.
One of my best friends sent me pictures of his calculators, my dad sent me a picture of his calculator and now this.
I ain't mad, it's beautiful really. I love it. There's so much nostalgia in these and I love it.
But it's really made me question who I am as a person that I've gotten this multiple times now.
Nice collection! :)
I’m a huge RPL fan. I have a 48GX and a 50g.
