Have you ever played/seen Asura's Wrath?
I have not.
It's a cinematic adventure / hack and slash game featuring the adventures of an Asura from Buddhism that enters a John Wickesque quest against the other gods for killing his wife.
He's really angry and has lots of arms.
It's a really beautiful game. But you gotta get past the simple bashing and qte based gameplay and enjoy watching cutscenes.
