I'm really happy to see, that PeerTube is getting more traction. I very shortly hosted my own server almost 5 years ago, when all the content seemed to be only some Linux/FOSS creators and conspiracy nuts/crypto-scammers that were kicked off every other platform.
But in the past weeks, it actually managed to take a significant chunk of my "I need a video or smth on my second screen so I can concentrate on my main task"-content. And there's a bigger variety of genuine and interesting content.
Here's hoping discoverability will get even better, too. I don't need a fully fledged algorithm spoon-feeding me, but the current system is unfortunately - in my opinion - not good enough, still. Something even like basic "related videos" that would e.g. recommend a video in a continuing series of videos by the same creator would do wonders, IMO. (Maybe that's implemented in some servers? Haven't looked far beyond the instance I am on, myself.)
Anyway, let's finish my rambling with a heartfelt thank you to everyone on here helping to build the community!
