Melissa isn't really a parent or single person. She generated 1000+ pages of noise and pilfered book excerpts from right wing activists.
If we had to describe this, it shouldn't be "a woman didn't like these books and got them banned."
She's got an agenda. She uses materials from politically motivated groups. She likely didn't have any personal motivation for any of these books to be removed. It's a jihad against people not conforming to the christian god.
